Exterior:

                  Always check the car in broad daylight.
                  Check all the body panels for dents, scratches.
                  Paint mismatch, fading problems to be minutely seen as it impact the overall appeal of the car.
                  To check for accident, sealant application to be checked around all panel joints (Indoors, Back door, Roof etc.)
                  All 5 tyres to be checked for groove left and uneven wear pattern
                  Check all the lights (Head light, Tail Lights and Indicators) for proper functioning, broken glass and inside moisture formation.

Interior:

                  Seat to be checked for seal reclining and sliding movement.
                  Check seat belts for proper functioning,
                  Check operations of all instruments panel components like (Panel which contain the speedometer)
                  All operations to be checked for cabin cooling, knobs operation in all position and vents conditions.
                  In costal areas, check the rusting problems in floor areas and below the seats.
                  Check all window operations for proper functioning and glass condition.
                  Check all doors for door locks and opening from inside and outside.
                  Check the wiper operation in all modes along with wiper blades condition.
                  Check cabin lights and headlights, taillight operations.

Road Test:

                  Start the vehicle with both keys and check key wear/ tear
                  Check hand break operation.
                  Accelerate the vehicle in idle position and check for abnormal engine noise.
                  Check clutch and break pedal play and their effectiveness/functioning while driving.
                  See the steering response while driving and look for abnormal noise
                  Close all windows and look for abnormal noise at single speed
                  Check the Gears shift operation and abnormal sound while shifting gear

Engine Room:

                  Check sealant application for accident checks
                  Check engine oil, Break oil level and engine oil condition (Color, thickness)
                  Leakage and damages to be checked visually
                  Check battery condition (Age, Charging and splash etc.)
                  Check engine and chassis numbers of ID Plates.

Documents:

        1. Ask for following documents in original:

                  Registration Copy (RC)
                  Insurance policy, NOC in case of hypothecation

        2. Check the current registration details for following :

                  Migrate from other state, original color, number of owners, endorsement for LPG/CNG
     
        3. Prefer document transfer in your name by the seller only
